In the 1970’s hippy travelers helped the "Late Durga Devi Poudel" to establish PEACE EYE GUEST HOUSE. Our commitment, since the 1970's has been to provide travelers with a unique experience in Nepal. Peace Eye Guest House is now run by Late Durga Devi's son Rishi Poudel with his Western/Nepali family. With more than 35 years of experience we have succeeded in providing a 5 Star service. Peace Eye Guest House is set in a quiet side street just off the main Lakeside strip in the heart of the town. Offering a quiet haven from all the hustle and bustle of the center. Just a minute’s walk from the famous Phewa Tal (lake).  

Taal Lounge Café where you can lie and read a book whilst sipping Nepal’s finest coffee and eating home made artisan cakes. Taal Café has regular music evening events and boasts some of Nepal’s finest classical musicians. Why not come and have a try yourself? Rishi (owner) is often on hand to teach you a few beats of the Tabla (Tradition Indian Drum). 

Taal Café - boasts some of Pokhara’s finest International cuisine and invites all guests to come and have a go at showing off their own culinary skills for themselves.
